Serendipity?
Isn’t it weird when you think someone’s left your life completely then all of a sudden you’re reminded by a teeny tiny circumstantial thing….
Walking home from the station, on the opposite side of the road I normally walk down, through my tiny commuter village/town I spy a sticker of a little known band who split up a while ago newly placed on a lampost right at my head height. This band happened to share the same name as an acquaintance from Uni’s social networking name and suddenly I am reminded of a person I had hoped to forget about.
Also this week an online friend that I have ‘known’ for about 5 years just got a job 2 doors down from my shop and knocked on my shop window to say ‘Hi’ yesterday. Of all the bike shops in all of london he’s working there without even knowing where I work, and there’s at least ten bike shops I know of within a mile of my shop.
Serendipitous…..? I think not. Weird….? Definitely.
